About

As a Robotics Engineer with 5+ years of entrepreneurial experience, I have a rare combination of deep technical literacy and customer-centric business acumen. I specialize in aligning technical feasibility with business viability, ensuring that engineering innovation translates directly into market value.
Currently pursuing my M.S. in Technology Management at Columbia University, I am refining my ability to lead product lifecycles, manage cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in hardware-software environments.
My journey has three main pillars:
The Engineer: With a B.S. in Robotics, I have hands-on experience in automation and electrical design (including the NASA Psyche Mission Capstone). I can speak the language of engineering teams, vetting technical feasibility in Python, C++, and SQL.
The Entrepreneur: For over 5 years, I ran my own IT services venture. This taught me the fundamentals of Product Management: understanding user pain points, managing ambiguity, and delivering value under tight constraints.
The Strategist: At Columbia, I am bridging these worlds, focusing on Product Strategy, Digital Transformation, and Agile Leadership.
I am actively seeking Summer 2026 Internships in Technical Product Management, Innovation, or R&D Operations where I can translate technical complexity into business impact.

How I Approach Products
Great products start with understanding the problem, not falling in love with the solution. My approach combines engineering rigor with entrepreneurial pragmatism.
Start with Constraints, Not Features
NASA Psyche required designing for near-zero gravity and vacuum before thinking about features. Constraints drove the decision to use weight distribution and spring systems instead of hydraulics. The best solutions emerge when you understand what you cannot do.
Talk to Users Before Writing Specs
IT consulting taught me that clients often describe solutions when they really need you to understand their problems. A request for "better software" usually means "I'm wasting 3 hours per day on manual tasks." Always dig deeper to find the real pain.
Prototype Fast, Iterate Faster
At ADD, building an Excel database for vehicle trims in days proved the concept before investing in complex systems. It reduced cycle time by 30% and got buy-in from manufacturing teams. Ship something real, learn from it, then improve.
Measure What Matters
For the Solar Hat, positive survey feedback validated demand, but the real metric would be "heat stroke incidents prevented." Always focus on outcomes, not outputs. If you can't measure impact, you can't prove value.
This approach has helped me ship products from NASA asteroid rovers to consumer hardware while running a profitable business. I bring this same thinking to every product challenge.

- Managed end-to-end product lifecycle for every engagement: conducted discovery interviews to identify root problems, prioritized features based on ROI and constraints, developed custom solutions, and iterated post-launch based on measurable outcomes.
- Achieved zero client churn over 5+ years by focusing on practical problem-solving and responsive service. Developed systems thinking by identifying patterns across industries and building reusable solutions.
Projects
A selection of hands-on projects where I combined engineering expertise, product thinking, and entrepreneurial drive to deliver real-world solutions.
Robotic Driving System for NASA Psyche Asteroid Exploration
Mechanical Systems Lead & Robotics Engineer
Senior Capstone Project – Arizona State University (Spring 2024)
- Designed a driving system for a rover to navigate asteroid 16 Psyche's surface (near-zero gravity, no atmosphere, metallic dust terrain). Solved critical constraints by concentrating 70% of mass in the wheels for traction and using independent left-right leg suspension enabling full 360° turns without reversing.
- Led iterative design process evaluating hydraulic vs. spring-based systems (pivoted to springs after NASA mentor feedback on vacuum requirements) and magnetic vs. weight-based traction (avoided magnets due to conductive dust interference).
- Delivered functional prototype meeting all NASA-specified requirements (weight, size, speed, budget). Selected tank-track configuration for lowest maintenance and highest durability in long-duration missions. Validated design through calculations and Earth-analog testing accounting for gravity differences.
Wearable Heat Stroke Prevention System
Product Designer & Embedded Systems Engineer
Embedded Systems Project – Arizona State University (Fall 2023)
- Identified critical safety problem: outdoor workers in Arizona and hot climates face dangerous heat exposure leading to heat stroke hospitalizations. Current solutions rely on workers self-monitoring symptoms, which often happens too late.
- Built Arduino-based wearable hat prototype with temperature and humidity sensors monitoring ambient heat exposure and perspiration levels (early dehydration indicators). Designed custom PCB in Cadence to miniaturize electronics into hat brim. Created alert system with visual/audible warnings when risk thresholds exceeded.
- Validated technical feasibility and received positive survey feedback indicating strong market demand. Developed product roadmap for full commercialization: data collection from 1,000+ workers to establish heat stress baselines, predictive ML algorithm, mobile app for real-time worker/supervisor notifications, and OSHA compliance integration.
IT Solutions Consulting Practice
Founder & Lead Consultant
5+ Years of Entrepreneurial Experience (2019 - Present)
- Built and operated profitable IT consulting practice serving 20+ clients (individuals and small businesses) with software, web development, and data analytics solutions. Generated $20K-$70K annually while studying full-time in the U.S. Achieved 100% referral-based growth with zero client churn.
- Owned end-to-end product lifecycle for every engagement: client discovery interviews to identify root problems (not surface requests), ROI-based feature prioritization under budget constraints, custom solution development (software builds, websites, analytics dashboards), and post-launch iteration based on measurable impact.
- Developed systems thinking by identifying patterns across industries (construction, legal, retail) and building reusable frameworks. Learned core PM skills in real-world setting: managing ambiguity, defining scope boundaries, saying no to feature creep, and focusing on outcomes (time saved, revenue enabled, downtime prevented) over outputs.
Algorithmic Trading System
System Architect & Developer
Personal Project · Cloud-Deployed (2024 – Present)
- Designed and deployed a fully automated trading system on Google Cloud Platform executing real-capital trades on BTC and ETH perpetual futures via live exchange APIs. System runs 24/7 without manual intervention.
- Architected the full pipeline end-to-end: real-time market data ingestion, signal generation logic, risk management with position sizing and stop-loss rules, and automated order execution with idempotent retry handling. Treated trading as a product problem — defined success metrics, instrumented logging, and iterated based on live performance data.
- Operating with real capital forced ruthless prioritization between feature velocity and reliability. Built monitoring, alerting, and kill-switch controls before adding strategy complexity. Reinforced PM instincts: ship the smallest reliable version first, then iterate against measurable outcomes.
